Yeterday at 8:00 p.m., Playroom Nahr-el mot hosted a networking event. This event was the official Launch of Beirut Creative Cluster, an initiative launched by Berytech with the support of the European Union. It was under the patronage of the Minister of Telecommunications Mr. Nicolas Sahnawi. People of different backgrounds were there. The event gathered people from the media, production, design sectors as well s universties, banks and different businesses. The atmosphere was freindly and people were bonding when the band was playing cool music accompanied with singing in both aArabic and English.
The main goal of this whole initiative is to create what’s called a “platform” that makes it possible for stakeholders of the same interests to collaborate and merge down their capabilities as a way for innovation and creativty.
Actually I found it a gorgeous idea and I’m really looking forward for it because I do beleive that we need such a step in our country. We maybe have good minds and high qualites but the lack of communication and cooperation is resulting in this shortage in creativity and innovation as well as the shrinkage in job opportunities in Lebanon.
This step will definetly boost the Lebanese economy on one hand and on the other hand it will decrease the rate of the immigration of the youth.
The two most powerful warriors are patience and time. So remember: great achievements take time, there is no overnight success
